Position Overview

Trinity Place is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Ward Clerk. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive and organized environment, loves interacting with people, and is passionate about contributing to the well-being of residents in a nursing home setting.

Employment Details
  • Location: Trinity Place
  • Employment Type: Part-Time (Two or three days each week and every third weekend)
  • Pay: Details will be discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities

As a Ward Clerk, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing clerical support and maintaining records related to resident care.
  • Facilitating seamless communication among staff and external stakeholders.
  • Answering telephone calls and notifying relevant staff of resident requests.
  • Managing medical records, including scanning, filing, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Coordinating lab work and preparing necessary documentation for residents' medical appointments.
  • Assisting with inventory management for medical, office, and personal care supplies.
  • Reflecting Trinity Place’s mission, vision, and values in all daily interactions.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of resident information and adhering to infection control procedures.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent; relevant training or experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and medical records software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred but not mandatory).
Working Conditions
  • Ambulatory throughout all areas of the facility.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Occasional desk work with extended periods in front of a computer; bending, stooping, and reaching as required.
