Position Available: Junior Digital Content Designer
Location: Remote; Sri Lanka
Hours: Full-time - 5:30am - 1:30pm, IST Colombo time

Join Ignite-X, the shared services arm of Elephant Teams and its rapidly growing group of companies, and dive into exciting, creative design projects, create engaging and catchy captions for social media posts that grab attention and encourage audience interaction all across a wide range of dynamic brands.

Your main responsibilities and experience:

• Digital Designing & Editing: You’ll spend most of your day working in Canva, creating and editing social media posts, engagement content, flyers, and other marketing materials. From time to time, you’ll also be asked to edit videos on an ad-hoc basis
• Content & Captions for Social Media: You’ll help write engaging captions and come up with ideas for social media posts that connect with our audience and encourage interaction.
• Web & SEO Content Support: You’ll help keep website content up to date and make sure it’s set up well for SEO. This includes things like updating text, links, images, and page settings across websites.
• Basic Housekeeping Responsibilities: Assist the team with ad-hoc and daily marketing activities and familiar with virtual teams and project management tools

What your profile will look like:

• Must have - strong communication skills: Fluent written and oral English skills are essential.
• Must have - 1+ years of experience: Demonstrable experience in a similar role with proficiency in Canva and video editing software is essential.
• Preferred: Experience with software tools like Notion, ClickUp, and website management platforms is a plus. However, the ability and correct attitude to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and processes is essential.
• Must have - great organisational skills: excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively and able to work independently and proactively without constant supervision in a remote work setting
• Must have - professional self conduct: Familiarity with design best practices, and the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically across diverse teams and stakeholders, all while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Highly desirable - prior experience managing multiple portfolios: experience working at a marketing agency is a plus
