Job description

Our Program Management Strategic Accounts department has an opening for a Project Coordinator. This role involves direct client and vendor communication as a Coordinator on different accounts.

Most projects are processed automatically from start to finish with little oversight required. Our goal is to make good use of automation where possible so we can focus on quality and strengthening relationships within our team, with our vendors and with our client. Our Project Managers and Project Coordinators work primarily on managing exceptions, especially urgent requests, as well as refining processes and tools to improve efficiency.

Our team works as a global team covering all time zones. We have hundreds of linguists who are dedicated specifically to our program. We work hard to train and develop our resources and maintain very low turnover as compared to the industry standard.


Responsibilities

  • Working with daily deliverables, supporting on-time delivery for assigned accounts     
  • Ensuring that all client and linguist communications are addressed in a timely and professional manner
  • Learning and working with our client’s and client-specific tools and platforms
  • Basic troubleshooting of internal and client specific tools
  • Assisting Project Managers and other team members with any regular or ad hoc tasks to ensure successful project delivery
  • Documenting processes, contributing ideas and implementing improvements for overall benefit to the team
  • Assisting senior management team with special projects


Requirements
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to change
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed
  • Fluent in English with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and face-to-face (online), any other languages an asset
  • Self-starter with an ability to process and retain a high volume of information, particularly during the training phase
  • Experience using Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Calendar
  • Willingness for continuous learning and developmentWorking independently with support offered internally and through on-line tools (email, instant message, video conferencing)
  • Technical proficiency working with and troubleshooting different computer platforms, tools and ability to understand proprietary systems


Ideally, the candidate will have

  • 1-2 years’ experience in the localisation industry in a similar role
  • Remote working experience an advantage
  • Experience with Google online tools such as Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.
  • Experience with working in a quality certified environment is a plus (ISO, etc.)
  • Flexibility with working hours as required
