Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Appointment Setter to join our growing freight brokerage team in a part-time remote capacity. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential shipping clients, helping to build valuable relationships that drive business growth in the logistics industry. You’ll work with an established prospect list to generate qualified leads and schedule meaningful conversations between shippers and our brokerage team. Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective shippers using our established prospect database
  • Set high-quality appointments for shippers to discuss freight brokerage partnership opportunities
  • Generate and provide shipping quotes when requested by potential clients
  • Schedule strategic meetings between qualified shippers and our freight brokerage specialists
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and appointment outcomes
  • Follow up with prospects to ensure scheduled appointments are confirmed and attended
  • Collaborate with the brokerage team to understand client needs and tailor appointment messaging accordingly

Requirements
  • Proven experience in appointment setting, lead generation, or similar sales support roles
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional phone presence
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and appointment scheduling software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work part-time schedule with consistent availability (minimum 20 hours per week)
  • Experience in logistics, freight, or transportation industry is a plus but not required
  • Comfortable with performance-based bonus structure
