Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Konkani Language Instructor to teach spoken and written Konkani to students across various age groups and proficiency levels. The ideal candidate should have a strong command over the language, a deep understanding of cultural nuances, and the ability to create an engaging and interactive virtual classroom environment.

As a Konkani Instructor, you will help students build confidence and fluency in the language through live sessions, personalized instruction, and creative lesson planning.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct well-structured and interactive Konkani language classes via Zoom online platforms.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate learners’ age groups, skill levels, and learning styles.
Design engaging lesson plans, exercises, and assessments to track student progress.
Integrate Konkani culture, traditions, and folklore into the curriculum to enhance learning.
Provide regular, constructive feedback to help students improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Requirements

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Konkani, Language Studies, Literature, Education, or related fields.
A B.Ed. or teaching certification is an added advantage.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Konkani (online or offline).
Strong proficiency in spoken and written Konkani.
Good understanding of Konkani grammar, literature, and practical usage.
Ability to communicate in English or Hindi for bilingual instruction.
Creative, flexible, and passionate about language education.
