đź§© About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, resourceful, and data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to help scale our D2C user acquisition, activation, and subscription efforts across Iraq (and potentially the MENA region).
1001 is reshaping entertainment in Iraq, and soon the region. We combine exclusive football/sports streaming, local Iraqi originals, and a bundle subscription model which includes OSN+, TOD and others.
We’ve been laying the groundwork for 10x growth. You’ll come in to work at the intersection of creative experimentation, performance marketing, customer lifecycle engagement, marketing & product analytics, and partnerships to grow the 1001 platform.
This role is perfect for someone who is “full-stack” and thrives in an experimental, fast-paced environment; who understands the nuances of regional markets, and enjoys translating performance data into real creative and strategic actions.

🔥 What You’ll Do
Acquisition & Performance
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other
- Own A/B/C testing of creatives, CTAs, and ad routes to maximize acquisition and LTV
- Launch ASO campaigns and monitor app store downloads
- Coordinate with designers / copywriters and ensure spend efficiency on a monthly and campaign basis
Lifecycle & Retention
- Manage push, in-app, and whatsapp campaigns through Braze
- Segment audiences based on user behavior, source, and churn risk for personalized messaging
- Own campaign calendars and work cross-functionally with content and product teams
Funnel & Attribution
- Track full-funnel performance of campaigns — from ad click to subscription — using Amplitude, AppsFlyer, Braze and internal dashboards
- Monitor CAC, ROAS, CPI, CTR, as well as retention metrics to guide decisions
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure correct impact and attribution
Partnerships & Distribution
- Coordinate with ecommerce and retail partners to launch bundled subscription campaigns
- Suggest ways to leverage voucher activations, BNPL options, and referral loops
💡 You’ll Succeed If You Have
- 3–6 years in growth, performance marketing, or lifecycle marketing (B2C or DTC preferred)
- Strong command of ad platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems
- A strategic mindset — able to design experiments and think in terms of user journeys
- Comfort with data — not just reporting, but turning insights into action
- Expertise in spreadsheets, data visualization, presentations, LLM/LRM prompting
- Experience working cross-functionally with design, content, product, and external partners
- You’re a self-learner, self-motivated, self-made.

- You’ve previously worked with top startups from Iraq or MENA
- You know SQL, Python, and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of voucher-based monetization flows
- MBA or Masters in strategy, marketing, digital marketing, or data analytics
