Senior Program Manager

About You

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager responsible for coordinating multiple projects that are used to meet a program’s main goals, that oversees the entire process and offers strategic guidance to Project Managers while ensuring proper communication between interdependent teams in the company.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager leading complex initiatives.
• Project management qualification (PMP or equivalent).
• Certification(s) in Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with Agile SAFe frameworks.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams (design, development, QA, DevOps).
• Solid experience in app development projects.
• Experience working with clients in the airline or travel industry is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills: innovative thinking, diligence, and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Deep understanding of business processes, client goals, and strategic alignment.
• Residency in Mexico is preferred. If not based in Mexico, candidate must be able to travel frequently.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Foster strong relationships with the client’s key stakeholders, collaborating closely with CRMs to ensure alignment with strategic business goals and identify growth opportunities.
• Plan and monitor project execution with a focus on cadence, scope, and quality.
• Manage interdependencies across multiple projects, ensuring clear communication of deliverables, risks, and performance indicators to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively manage project risks, issues, and contingency plans to ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and corrective actions are taken as needed.
• Understand and manage the project contract, including scope control and change order execution.
• Supervise the execution of financials, ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Support and develop junior project managers, coaching them toward greater effectiveness in their current and future roles.
• Handle client escalations by working together with related areas in order to ensure proper delivery.
