Partner Manager – Veeam
The Veeam Partner Manager develops, manages, and grows our strategic relationships with Hybrid Resellers and Service Providers. This role is critical to driving joint business opportunities, increasing revenue, and enhancing our market presence through effective channel management. The ideal candidate will possess strong consultative sales expertise, deep industry relationships, and a track record of success in a channel-focused environment.
Sales Quota Management: Achieve revenue-based sales targets through proactive business development.
Strategic Partner Development: Drive growth through a focus on use cases like Office 365 backup, cloud backup, disaster recovery, and Kubernetes workloads.
Business Planning: Develop and execute strategic business plans jointly with partners to align goals and maximize results.
Partner Enablement: Recruit, train, and enable new and existing channel partners for sustained success.
Account Planning: Create and manage comprehensive partner business plans encompassing sales, marketing, and enablement initiatives. Monitor execution and performance.
Opportunity Advancement: Collaborate with Veeam Account Managers and Systems Engineers to qualify leads and drive closure of large enterprise opportunities.
Relationship Management: Build and sustain high-level relationships with key stakeholders across Veeam and partner organizations.
Thought Leadership: Represent Veeam at partner meetings and events through impactful presentations and strategic contributions.
Channel Development: Leverage proven relationships in top-tier channel partners and demonstrate the ability to develop new strategic alliances.
CRM Management: Accurately maintain pipeline and activity data in Veeam’s CRM system.
Product Expertise: Gain and apply a strong understanding of Veeam solutions and their value for Hybrid Resellers and Cloud Providers.
Sales Execution: Apply a consultative sales approach to deliver results in a competitive channel environment.
Lead Generation: Demonstrate business acumen and initiative by proposing and executing lead generation activities in collaboration with partners.
Experience: 5+ years of field sales experience with Hybrid Resellers and Service Providers, ideally within software backup channel sales.
Industry Relationships: Strong existing relationships within top-tier Resellers and Service Providers.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with virtualization, data management, backup, cloud, disaster recovery, and security technologies.
Vendor Experience: Knowledge of technologies from VMware, Red Hat, Nutanix, and/or Hyper-V is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
Sales Approach: Proven track record in consultative selling and successful execution in channel-focused organizations.
Team Orientation: Strong team-working attitude and ability to operate in multi-cultural, cross-functional environments.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
