Product/Project Manager – Automotive Digital AI Scent Solutions

Role Overview
They are looking for an ambitious and strategic-minded Product/Project Manager to spearhead the growth and successful delivery of our client’s automotive product portfolio. As a vital bridge between their Tier 1 manufacturing partners, automotive OEM clients, and internal software and firmware teams, you will play a central role in launching innovative digital scent solutions to market introduction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Product Development: Manage automotive product lifecycles from ideation and planning through to launch, aligning strategic objectives, customer requirements, and company vision.
Strategic Roadmap Planning: Clearly define and communicate new product roadmaps, aligning them with Our client ’s long-term goals, market insights, resource allocation, and timelines.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Tier 1 engineering and design teams, as well as Our client ’s software, firmware, marketing, sales, operations, and technical teams, to ensure timely product development and successful market launch.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison with automotive OEM customers during the development process, nurturing strong relationships, managing expectations, and addressing feedback effectively.
Project Oversight: Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget, maintaining meticulous project documentation, tracking deliverables, and swiftly addressing any issues or risks.
Reporting and Communication: Provide regular and clear updates to stakeholders and senior management regarding project progress, risks, opportunities, and milestones.
Product Enhancement: Continuously improve products by gathering customer feedback, analyzing performance and usage data, and maintaining the highest quality and innovation standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product/project management, ideally within the automotive or technology sectors.
Solid understanding of automotive product lifecycles, including familiarity with automotive industry standards, supplier management, and OEM requirements.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects involving cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Experience in IoT, connected devices, or digital product management is highly desirable.
