Osborn Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager within our Civil group for our St. Petersburg, FL office. The successful candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in the planning, design, development, and construction phases of a variety of project types. This position reports directly to the Manager of Civil Engineering and the Florida Director of Civil Engineering and will work closely with the directors, managers, and engineering staff to ensure that our client’s needs and expectations are exceeded.
The Senior Project Manager position at Osborn Engineering is a production management and team leadership role. An effective Project Manager plans, leads, and reviews engineering design and permitting to achieve client satisfaction and project success. An effective Project Manager also supports the Division Head and Director in practice development and staff training. A Senior Project Manager is knowledgeable, organized, self-supporting, and a good communicator.

Position Responsibilities:
This position will work closely with the managers, directors, and engineering staff to ensure that our client’s needs and expectations are exceeded. Main responsibilities include project management, business development, client management, project design, permitting and plan review submittals, and plan preparation. Growth in design and leadership ability, dependability, and organizational skills will lead to future advancement.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Project experiences should include, but are not limited to master planning, site development, utility improvements, roadway improvements, drainage and stormwater management, grading, subdivisions, campus improvements, coastal engineering, and sports fields design. Must be able to work independently to manage project schedules and budgets, foster client relationships, and drive staff development.
