Wordpress Developer

We are looking for an experienced Wordpress Developer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital portfolio.

You will be instrumental in evolving our core technology, creating a scalable and efficient foundation for a diverse range of web properties. This is a key role focused on driving technical excellence, taking ownership of the architecture, and promoting a culture of reusable, high-quality code to support our long-term growth.

Responsibilities: 

• Architect, develop, and maintain a core suite of plugins and themes used across multiple web properties.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate diverse business requirements into unified, scalable, and reusable technical solutions.
• Take full technical ownership of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment, ensuring robust, high-quality code.
• Analyze and refactor existing codebases to improve performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Implement and enforce SEO best practices within the WordPress context.
• Troubleshoot issues and take initiative to suggest and implement improvements across the portfolio.
  

Profile: 

• Proven work experience as a Wordpress developer with a strong portfolio.
• Demonstrable experience architecting and building complex, reusable Wordpress plugins designed for a multi-site environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Deep understanding of Wordpress architecture, including hooks, filters, and best practices for creating scalable and maintainable code.
• Experience with GIT, Docker, and modern deployment workflows.
• Proven ability to work in an environment with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills to align technical solutions with diverse business needs.
• A strong sense of product ownership and a deep understanding of how code quality impacts business outcomes, such as performance and security.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into efficient and performant Wordpress components.

Interview process:

If you have been selected amongst other candidates you will receive an email with a booking link for your initial interview. 

1st step: HR initial interview: The meeting will be conducted by HR, and will last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. It will cover your previous experiences and the reasons why you want to join the company

2nd step: Written test to evaluate your knowledge and skills (we will give you 1 week to complete it). The test will help you to apprehend the position you are applying for, so if you like to do the test, then you will love working in our company.

3rd step: You will meet the manager for a final interview that will last around 1 hour.
