We’re launching a cutting-edge AI application that brings hyper-realistic, interactive virtual avatars to life—designed to serve as real-time coaches, guides, or consultants. This is an opportunity to work closely with the founding team on a high-stakes proof-of-concept that could scale into a full production pipeline. We’re seeking someone with both vision and executional depth—a standout contributor capable of shaping the future of AI-powered human-computer interaction.
This initial engagement will test quality, creativity, and integration ability, with strong potential to expand into a long-term, high-impact role.
5–7 years of experience in software development or ML
Expertise in syncing facial expressions, body gestures, and speech for believable digital humans
Strong background in real-time voice processing, modulation, and output systems
Experience integrating large language models (like ChatGPT) into conversational avatars
Skilled at fusing multiple components—AI, animation, voice, logic—into unified, intuitive experiences
Comfortable in Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms
Driven by empathy and user-centered design principles
English - at least B2
Create and refine realistic virtual characters that respond naturally to users
Build systems that coordinate real-time voice, expression, and gesture for fluid interaction
Connect AI conversation models to avatar behaviors for emotionally intelligent responses
Work closely with core stakeholders to define architecture, tools, and implementation strategies
Contribute to rapid prototyping and iterative improvements based on user feedback
Help shape a scalable framework for future team expansion
A foundational role in a high-visibility, next-gen product
Full-remote, preferably 30-40 hours/week
