We’re seeking a tech-savvy, reliable Virtual Assistant to support the end-to-end production and publishing of a weekly podcast. This role is ideal for someone experienced with podcast platforms (especially Riverside) and who is comfortable handling both technical tasks (editing/uploading) and administrative duties (scheduling, communication, content repurposing).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Podcast Management:
    Edit podcast episodes (approximately 90 minutes each)
    Upload completed episodes to publishing platforms
    Ensure new episodes go live every Friday morning
    Manage and organize episode files and metadata
  • Scheduling & Coordination:
    Schedule podcast recordings while avoiding overscheduling (ideally 1–2 per week)
    Handle last-minute rescheduling and cancellations
    Coordinate with guests and maintain calendar accuracy
  • Content Repurposing & Publishing:
    Post podcast videos on platforms like YouTube and Twitter
    Create and publish blog posts/show notes based on each episode
    Upload blog posts to the website in a consistent format (guidance provided)
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience editing and publishing podcasts
  • Familiarity with Riverside.fm (or similar platforms)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Basic experience with website CMS/blog publishing (training provided)
  • Bonus: Knowledge of repurposing video content for social media
    Nice to Have:
  • Portfolio of previously published podcasts or show links
  • Experience with content marketing or social media management
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Calendar, email automation, etc.
