Job description

Quantum dots are a promising technology for the physical layer of quantum computers, especially when it comes to scaling. A quantum dot is extremely small in size, and is (largely) compatible with nowadays low cost CMOS technology. This project is about summarizing the theory of quantum dots, investigate limitations, deriving specifications for the electronics and to prepare for system design of a quantum computer based on quantum dots.
