Job Summary
Lilly's access strategy seeks to make our medicines more affordable for patients and their families. This involves partnering with governments and healthcare providers to develop solutions which increase patient access and improve affordability while maintaining the sustainability of healthcare systems. The Associate will support the V&A Manager in the implementation of market-based pricing strategies for products within the portfolio across Taiwan. In addition, the Associate will also work on demonstrating value by delivering economic analyses/studies that help to inform the development of new policies or adapt existing ones as well as supporting other projects such as government price negotiations, market access and health economics and outcomes research.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with V&A manager to implement market-based pricing strategies for products within the portfolio
• Support the preparation of economic analysis and submissions for new product launches
• Assist with various tasks related to economic studies, including literature searches, data extraction, study design, analysis and interpretation
• Work collaboratively with the team to execute V&A projects such as conducting policy reviews, tracking competitor trends and updating pricing tools
• Help to identify, collect and analyze relevant market intelligence and competitive insights
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of different pricing models and scenarios
• Contribute to business planning processes and ad hoc project requests
• Coordinate activities across functions to ensure timely execution of agreed actions
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics or equivalent
• Fluent written and spoken English language skills are essential
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Experience working in pharmaceutical industry preferred but not required
• Knowledge of the Taiwanese Healthcare System would be advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
