Position Overview

As our International Business grows, the demand for high quality internal training and education continues to significantly increase across EMEA.  To meet these demands, we are expanding our team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Training and Medical Education lead to manage physician education programs, manage expert physician partners and contribute to the development and execution of future Medical Education activities and initiatives.  

In this role, you will work with a combination of external stakeholders including but not exclusive to Interventional Cardiologists, General Cardiologists and General Practitioners with special interest in Refractory Angina.

Alongside external efforts, the successful candidate will also work closely with internal stakeholders from a variety of internal business functions including but not exclusive to: Senior Management, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations and Distributor Partners from a variety of different countries.

The ability to collaborate and successfully work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders is an important prerequisite for this role.

Being a team player and having a positive “can-do” mindset is essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and delivery of medical education programs and events

Attendance of medical education programs and events across Europe

Management and tracking of honoraria and Medical Education budget

Managing relationships and developing partnerships with key external stakeholders

Working with internal stakeholders aligning Medical Education activities to marketing strategy

Assessment and implementation of latest trends in Medical Education

Routine performance of general administrative activities.

Requirements

Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, science, nursing or related fields, or equivalent experience.

Experience directly supporting interventional or surgical procedures within a hospital setting OR, 1 years of industry, hospital-based life sciences, sales support experience. 

Experience in the planning and execution of Medical Education events

Interventional Cardiology OR Interventional Radiology experience preferred but not essential.

A history of effective collaboration across business functions

A high attention to detail and quality

Good prioritization and organizational skills

Interventional product and procedural knowledge / experience

Computer skills (MS Office tools)  

Excellent critical thinking skills

High energy results-oriented individual with a mature approach to working who is good at motivating and inspiring others

Proactive with tasks and enjoys being “hands-on” versus “hands-off”

Demonstrates willingness to take decisions and responsibility for such

Effective written, verbal and presentation skills with all levels of customers and management

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements
