Mission
  • Reporting to CEO, drive the vision, strategy, and execution of Localytics’ platform, ensuring it delivers value for enterprise customers while scaling to meet evolving market demands. This means a hard pivot away from the current offering, if needed. The ideal candidate will be able to make hard choices with imperfect information. Vision and boldness (grounded in reality) required.
  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle management for core analytics, marketing, and API-driven features, balancing innovation with technical feasibility and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with remote engineering teams to prioritize, define, and deliver high-impact product enhancements that align with Localytics’ mission of deepening customer insights and driving app engagement. Connect our engineering teams to our customer, literally and metaphorically.
  • Partner with Customer Success and leadership to translate customer feedback and market trends into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Mentor and guide one direct report, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Champion API-first product design, ensuring seamless integrations (e.g., Events API, SDKs) and scalability for enterprise clients in sectors like retail, finance, and telecom.
  • Champion cutting edge technologies and development methodologies, helping pull  the company into the future.
Outcomes
  • Within 9 months you will successfully launch a set of major product features that provide meaningful customer value and enable our sales and marketing motion.
  • Drive adoption of Localytics APIs
  • Achieve 90% on-time delivery for quarterly roadmap commitments, measured by engineering sprint completion rates and stakeholder feedback.
  • Increase customer satisfaction scores for product usability by 20%, as tracked via quarterly surveys and NPS benchmarks.
  • Formalize product development processes for remote engineering collaboration, reducing requirement ambiguities and accelerating time-to-market.
  • Contribute to revenue growth through upsell opportunities tied to new API capabilities/integrations, and AI-driven products.

Requirements

Competencies
  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS product management, with a proven track record of launching API-driven or analytics-focused solutions (e.g., customer data platforms, marketing automation tools).
  • Demonstrable experience managing full product lifecycles–from ideation, to launch, to post-launch optimization–for technically complex offerings.
  • Fluency in API design principles and SDK integration workflows (e.g., RESTful APIs, event tracking systems, developer documentation).
  • Strong analytical acumen: ability to interpret usage metrics, A/B test results, and customer behavior data to inform prioritization (experience with tools like Localytics’ funnel analytics or predictive modeling is a plus).
  • Experience or demonstrable capability to collaborate with distributed teams across time zones.
