Summary

• We are looking for a Senior Android Mobile Engineer to join our mobile engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly Android applications. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, building, and maintaining mobile solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences.

As a senior engineer, you bring extensive hands-on experience with Android technologies, strong technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset. You will be a key contributor to technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and help shape the strategic direction of our mobile products.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience developing software applications.
• 3+ years of experience building native Android applications.

Soft Skills

• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Open to learning and experimenting with new technologies and tools.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in dynamic environments.
• Skilled in mentoring peers and contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Android Jetpack components and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Solid understanding of SQL and database integration in mobile apps.
• Skilled in integrating and consuming APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
• Proficiency in unit testing and ensuring high code quality.
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and container-based workflows.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of application security best practices (OWASP, OAuth).
• Experience in performance optimization, including caching and memory management.
• Hands-on experience developing Cross-Platform mobile applications using React Native or Flutter.
• Experience in the Health Care Industry.
