What you will be doing:
- Create detailed and complex financial models based on client invoices, contracts, and surveys
- Perform comparative pricing research of highly complex banking technology proposals and contracts
- Perform comparative contract terms/conditions reviews preparing for business terms negotiations
- Operate in a team project-based environment and learn from highly specialized senior tenured professional negotiator consultants
- Manage and drive day-to-day tactical aspects of projects over life cycle of 3+ months
- Take a lead role in developing project plans and meeting deadlines
- Build and leverage internal tools in conjunction with both public and proprietary data and analyze results
- Develop, draft, and edit client deliverables
- Draft client communications
- Coordinate clients and vendor calls/meetings. Juggle multiple schedules and conflicts
- Assist senior consultants as needed
- Special projects as assigned
- Provide a high level of customer service in response to client inquiries and requests
- Other duties as required and assigned
Qualifications
What you must bring with you:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong EQ skills
- Team player with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all staff levels as well as work independently on complex projects and tasks
- Ability to interact professionally with clients in senior and executive management roles
- Awareness of and familiarity with FI Vendor landscape
- Ability to provide content and other support for RFP responses
- Highly developed "emotional intelligence" and related personal characteristics
- Adept and creative problem solver
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be able to work with constant interruptions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Prior B2B contract negotiation experience a plus
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business related field - quantitative focus a plus. MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience in an applicable field preferred.
- Financial industry knowledge preferred
