Reports to Vice President of Human Resources.

 

What we are looking for:  

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, comply with legal requirements and policies and procedures
  • Ability to operate various Microsoft Word based operating systems and the organization’s HRIS system
  • Ability to perform a variety of professional, technical, confidential, analytical HR functions with minimal guidance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including presentation skills, training and meeting facilitation
  • Maintaining a positive company image to the employee population and the public
  • Work independently and stay focused
  • Understanding of work quality
  • Strong knowledge with Windows-based computer operating systems and software
  • Positive Attitude with good customer service relations internally and externally.
  • Attention to detail, recognize and report issues.
  • Meet or exceed national averages for time to fill
  • Manage 25-40 different openings in 25-40 different locations as a part of over 100 location in 3 countries and overall 500 team members
  • Self-Motivated to get assigned work completed in a timely manner
  • Willingness and personality suited to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently while being able to adjust style to audience. 
  • Self-directed and accountable to lead areas of responsibility, making decisions with minimal guidance  
  • Is a good listener and seeks to understand.
  • Prefer: 5+ years relevant Hands-on Recruiting/Human Resources experience all levels including entry level through Manager

 

 A typical day may look like this

  • Contact from multiple hiring managers
  • Collaboration and suggestion for unique approaches to hiring depending on the situation
  • Writing, updating, and positing internal and external job postings
  • Posting to internal/external job boards
  • Manages requisition flow process
  • Tracks open positions
  • Schedules candidates for testing
  • Prescreens/Interviews candidates
  • Facilitates and direct personnel meetings
  • Prepares offer letter
  • Performs background checks
  • Manages candidate onboarding experience
  • Manages relationship with staffing agencies including negotiating rates
  • Manage customer badging and background checks
  • Provide one on one and classroom training for improved interviewing and selection skills.
  • Other duties as assigned
