Our Care Pharmacist must be detail oriented, thorough, and obsessed with creating the best possible experience for our customers. You will be an integral part in helping us to ensure our pharmacy operations run smoothly, and to make Mixlab a 100% dependable resource for our customers and veterinarians alike.
This is a per-diem role at $57-62 per hour depending on individual qualifications, licensure, experience, and skillset.
Must be available to work on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and/or Saturday (9-:530, or 8:30-5pm PDT), as needed. Must have flexibility to work in-person as needed.
CANDIDATES MUST BE LICENSED IN BOTH CA AND IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING STATES: NY, TX, OR FL TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.
Primary Responsibilities:Professionally communicate with veterinarians and clients to get their furry family members their prescriptions in a timely manner:Handle phone calls, emails, and text messages from veterinarians and vet practice staff to answer questions, take information for new prescriptions, or provide status updates on ordersTake prescriptions over the phone or by electronic means and enter orders into our proprietary workflow system Call vet practices when additional information or authorization is needed, or to relay client questions or concernsCounsel clients on different medications, needs, usages, and instructionsMonitor our CRM and respond to prescriber and client requests. Delight our customers and build their loyalty through excellent customer service and a friendly, positive attitude:Quickly and efficiently handle communication with customers by responding to phone calls, text messages, or emails to answer questions, solve problems, and ensure that all of our customers’ needs are metCall customers when additional information is needed regarding their medication Inform customers of Mixlab’s values, policies and procedures, and occasionally “sell” Mixlab to new customers who are considering switchingFollow Mixlab company workflow and processes to ensure smooth daily operations:Work closely with the lab and logistics teams to ensure orders are accurately scheduled and delivered to clients on timeCommunicate with other Mixlab pharmacists, technicians, and couriers to ensure that we always deliver on our promises to clientsUse multiple online systems and platforms to find information, troubleshoot and solve problems, create and process orders, track deliveries, etc.Create prescriptions and online orders responsibly and correctly with extreme attention to detailProcess payment information and schedule deliveries based on Mixlab’s delivery schedule and customer preferenceWork together with team members to ensure all orders are placed and all needs are met on a daily basis.About You:You are a licensed certified pharmacist in CA AND in one of the following states: NY, FL, or TX, in good standing with all State Boards of PharmacyYou have formal training in non-sterile compounding or equivalent experience, with preference given to veterinary compounding experienceYour attention to detail is impeccable, and you have incredibly high standards for accuracy and qualityYou are collaborative and have a desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, startup environmentYou solve problems and make decisions under pressure while remaining calm, supportive, and understanding to clients. Pay ranges at Mixlab are based on competitive market data for our industry and company size. In addition to base pay, our total compensation package for full-time employees includes benefits and equity. We determine individual pay based on qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset, and we expect offers made to candidates to fall throughout the range advertised.
