Job description

Orum is making sales human again through conversations. We are an AI-driven, live conversation platform that accelerates sales teams by empowering salespeople to achieve more. Orum increases sales efficiency, speeds up pipeline growth, and lowers customer acquisition costs for various companies ranging in size from start-ups to large enterprises. Sales teams using Orum see consistent conversations, more meetings booked, and shorter rep ramp time - all while having fun and not burning out. We are beyond excited to hire an empowered, remote-first community to support Orum's next growth phase!

Our Mission is to accelerate sales teams by empowering salespeople to achieve more.
Our Vision is to be an iconic company that makes work more human, meaningful, and connected.

We’re looking for a bold, creative, and results-driven Senior Field Marketing Manager to take our event strategy to the next level. Reporting directly to our Director of Demand Generation, you’ll own the strategy and execution of high-impact virtual and in-person experiences that drive pipeline, strengthen sales alignment, and make our brand unforgettable.

If you're the kind of marketer who craves a creative outlet, can juggle logistics and big ideas with ease, and knows how to manage up, across, and beyond your title, this is your stage.

Salary: $150,000. We believe in salary transparency, respect your time, and don't intend to waste it.

Did you know? Research indicates men often apply for jobs if they meet just 60% of the criteria, but women and other underrepresented groups usually wait until they check every box. Let's change this pattern! If you see yourself fitting into this role, even without ticking all the boxes, we'd love to hear from you. At Orum, we value diverse perspectives and are excited to consider how your unique skills could contribute to our team's success.

What You'll Do:
  • Own our field and event marketing program end-to-end including third-party sponsorships, virtual events, owned events, executive experiences, and our Customer Advisory Board (CAB) events
  • Research, plan, and execute ABM-focused campaigns that creatively blend virtual and in-person experiences to engage target accounts and accelerate deal cycles
  • Partner deeply with AEs and SDRs on territory plans, pipeline gaps, and sales enablement. You’ll be their strategic partner, not a support role
  • Plan and execute standout experiences that range from webinars and hosted dinners to creative touches that surprise and delight our prospects and customers
  • Drive attendance, follow-up, and ROI by managing pre-event communication, in-event engagement, and post-event follow-up strategies that Sales can actually use
  • Track and report on performance, tying every campaign to pipeline impact and ROI. You’ll own your results and bring visibility to your wins
  • Manage vendors, budgets, timelines, and internal stakeholders to ensure every experience lands on time, on brand, and with measurable results
  • Bring the energy, vision, and confidence to lead projects and rally cross-functional teams (Sales, CS, Execs) around high-impact programs
  • Own the strategy and execution of our entire Experience program  in alignment with the Revenue organization’s objectives including demand creation, lead capture, pipeline acceleration, and customer engagement

  • Who You Are:
  • A scrappy creator and first-principles thinker who loves building standout campaigns with the resources at hand
  • A natural delegator and cross-functional leader who isn’t afraid to manage up, run a room, or hold others accountable to deadlines and quality
  • An organized executor who sweats the details, anticipates needs, and communicates proactively
  • A sales-aligned marketer who’s energized by field collaboration and knows how to activate campaigns through real human relationships
  • A self-starter with an owner’s mindset. You don’t wait to be told what to do; you look around, see what’s missing, and make it happen

  • Must Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS with hands-on experience in field marketing, ABM, and event strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute creative, high-impact experiences that drive pipeline and brand preference (you will be asked for a case study)
  • Proven success working closely with sales teams, including enabling SDR/AE follow-up and influencing territory strategy
  • Experience marketing to mid-market and enterprise segments
  • Ability to analyze multiple inputs and make data-driven decisions is key
  • Hands-on execution ability to manage multiple priorities with effective project management, time management, prioritization and organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail and ability to anticipate the needs of other teams
  • A creative spirit with an interest in ideating campaigns, messaging, copy and design direction
  • Amazing verbal and written communication skills are a given but we’ll state it here for emphasis: you are a great writer and presenter
  • Experience with core marketing tools like Hubspot, Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and ABM platforms
  • Self-starter with an owner’s mindset
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
