Position Summary:
The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $100,000-$115,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target, subject to eligibility and other requirements. The People Operations Specialist supports critical aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance, reporting, and systems implementation. This role helps ensure timely action, efficient processes, and a positive experience for both candidates and employees. While recruitment activities remain a core function, this position plays a broader role in supporting HR operational effectiveness, organizational development, and employee engagement across commercial, operations, and supporting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers, HR business partners, and leadership to understand workforce needs and ensure alignment with organizational priorities
- Support and coordinate recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience
- Assist in implementing and refining people operations initiatives such as onboarding, data integrity, compliance processes, and employee engagement efforts
- Track and analyze key HR and recruitment metrics to inform strategic decision-making, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement
- Manage applicant flow and job postings through various sourcing channels (job boards, social media, referrals, agencies, etc.)
- Coordinate the implementation and optimization of HR technologies, such as the SuccessFactors recruitment module
- Support efforts related to pay transparency and regulatory compliance, including immigration documentation in partnership with HR and legal
- Collaborate with the marketing team on employer branding and internal communication efforts
- Maintain strong working relationships with educational institutions, placement firms, and other recruitment sources
- Promote and uphold TÜV SÜD’s values and foster a positive workplace culture through collaboration, communication, and operational support
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
- 5-7 years of experience in a corporate recruiting role
- Proven success delivering recruiting results in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-growth, and demanding environment
- Direct sourcing expertise utilizing a range of methods and approaches social media savviness
- Exposure to AAP/EEOC requirements
- Preferred: Experience working in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry or related sectors such as insurance, real estate, risk management, industrial testing, or product testing/certification services
- Global Recruitment experience is a plus
