Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights: 

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: 9am-2pm, 3 days per week - 15 hours per week
Client Time zone: Pacific Standard Time (United States)

You'll be at the forefront of the company's social media strategy, managing engaging content across platforms. This role combines the best of organic social media management, allowing you to showcase your versatility in digital marketing. You'll work closely with the business owner to bring their vision to life through compelling social media presence and effective campaigns that drive real business results.


Responsibilities:

  • Schedule posts across platforms (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook)
  • Create engaging, on-brand content
  • Manage company social media accounts
  • Respond to and initiate interactions (messages, comments, likes)
  • Recommend strategies to improve online presence
  • Report on engagement and activity metrics
  • Collaborate with the social media manager

Requirements
  • Portfolio showcasing social media work
  • Proficiency in English
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing business or non-personal accounts
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Google Workspace, and general digital tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.
  • Strong interest or background in social media
  • Design skills (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
