We are looking for a experienced Scrum Master with a proven track record of guiding and coaching Agile teams to deliver high-impact solutions. Adept at applying Scrum best practices to drive team performance, foster continuous improvement, and ensure successful delivery outcomes. Skilled in team facilitation, agile execution, and proactively removing impediments to maintain momentum.

This role supports cross-functional pods building cloud-native and GenAI-driven applications across AI research platforms and operational systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background and collaborates effectively with technical leads on modern architectures (e.g., Azure, AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and product delivery lifecycles. Familiarity with Generative AI and LLM-powered applications is a strong advantage, enabling deeper alignment with technical realities and stronger collaboration across science, engineering, delivery management, and product stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Process Facilitation

• Lead all core Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

• Promote adherence to Scrum values and Agile principles across the team

Delivery Enablement

• Monitor sprint progress and velocity to manage scope and timelines effectively

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine the backlog and clarify sprint goals

• Identify and resolve blockers quickly to maintain delivery flow

Team Coaching & Development

• Cultivate a high-performing, self-organizing team culture

• Coach team members on Agile roles, responsibilities, and values

Metrics & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Agile artifacts (e.g., burn-down charts, velocity metrics, dashboards)

• Provide regular progress updates and surface risks to stakeholders

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Coordinate dependencies and alignment across multiple teams

• Participate in Scrum of Scrums or scaled Agile frameworks as needed

Continuous Improvement

• Lead impactful retrospectives with actionable follow-ups

• Drive Agile maturity initiatives and tailor growth plans for each team

Tool Proficiency

• Expert user of Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps

• Utilize automation to streamline reporting, communication, and workflows

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PSM I/II; SAFe or PMI-ACP a plus

• 6+ years of experience leading Agile teams in cloud-native environments (Azure/AWS)

• Skilled in Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Agile reporting tools

• Comfortable collaborating with engineers on CI/CD, pipelines, and cloud architecture

• Familiarity with Generative AI and LLM-based applications for cross-functional alignment
