Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Accountant (Remote) to join our team! In this role you complete complex accounting assignments requiring specialized accounting and labor training and experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Reviewing time entries for compliance with labor laws and company policy

• Liaison with unions, HR, and payroll

• Supporting audit requests

• Completing account reconciliations, including analysis of results

• Processing journal entries

• Processing Sales/Use Tax returns and Gross Receipts Tax returns

• Providing reporting to unions or other agencies

• Various other accounting tasks

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Understanding of labor laws and how to apply them

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles

• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of employees and external contacts

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business or equivalent related work experience.

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
