Responsibilities
As a IT Systems Engineer with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:
Work within a well-established team of like-minded professionals to provide support to our government customer.
Provide design documentation and recommendations to include configuration advantages and disadvantages, risk assessments, and timelines.
Design, document, and implement a VMWare/vSphere virtual environment including physical/logical drawings.
Provide knowledge of networking principles, design, and configuration of Microsoft servers
Storage architecture including iSCSI, LUNs, and RAID.
Work with Linux/Unix based operating systems and system administration.
Showcase knowledge of network, storage, and compute virtualization technologies and knowledge management systems, disaster recovery systems and records management.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly is a MUST
U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
DoD 8570/8140 IAT II level certification
At least 8-10 years of experience in: Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and DFS, DHCP, and other network services, as well as GPOs, and VDI technologies (Citrix XenApp/VDA, MS RDS, VMware, etc.) Networking: TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching, and Firewalls Scripting/Automation (PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, Perl, etc.…)
Cloud experience to include Azure and O365
Working experience with Linux OSs

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $91,600.00/Yr. - USD $153,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
