EPWA is looking for a systems thinker and execution driver to join our Salt Lake City office as Associate Director, Executive Operations. This high-impact role partners directly with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive strategic alignment, optimize decision-making, and enhance operational effectiveness across the firm. You will join a team of dynamic, collaborative, and client-focused professionals who are focused on delivering on our founding core values: Integrity, Entrepreneurial, Inclusion and Connection.

 

Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 plus annual bonus  (Candidates must be in Salt Lake City to be considered) 

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Build and maintain frameworks, routines, and communications that clarify priorities, track progress, and align senior leaders across business functions.
  • Lead or coordinate cross-functional initiatives that accelerate EP’s growth and operational scale.
  • Proactively identify roadblocks and surface recommendations to support effective, enterprise-level problem-solving.
  • Serve as a connector between the Executive Committee, Operating Committee, PMO, and key functional leaders.
  • Facilitate clear, aligned communication across departments to ensure shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Help prioritize limited executive bandwidth by translating ideas into structured actions, meetings, and decisions.
  • Help design and maintain scalable systems that enable executive efficiency and transparency.
  • Track and synthesize key projects and decisions, ensuring consistent follow-through and outcome orientation.
  • Drive simplification and process improvement by identifying friction points and delivering solutions.
Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years in an operations, strategic enablement, Chief of Staff, or similar role in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization (financial services experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to work directly with executive leaders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Advanced skill with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI), cloud platforms (e.g., Teams, Salesforce), and emerging tech like AI assistants (Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Outstanding communication skills—able to distill complexity, write clearly, and guide executive-level conversations.
  • Strong judgment, ownership mindset, and comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
  • PMP certification or similar project/operations credentials a plus.
