We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our family-run decorating company in St. Cloud, MN. This position is responsible for partnering with the business to provide tactical and strategic consulting on people and organizational development in support of the business objectives. Will be responsible for leading and assessing training needs, performance and talent management consultation, employee relations coaching as well as policy interpretation and application. Will be the liaison between ASB subject matter experts (SME) departments and Dubow employees for areas of benefits, leaves of absences, legal compliance reporting and payroll.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Partners with leadership to align HR strategy with business strategy of the Dubow organization. From the strategy, develops department goals, objectives and identifies other key HR support needs.
  • Partners with VP and Director of HR to grow the capacity of the organization’s key talent through succession planning process including critical position identification, nine-box exercises as well as subsequent development plans to ensure top talent has the key experiences to continue to grow their career.
  • Identifies and drives the leadership and operational training needs for the organization.
  • Leads the Talent Acquisition process and provides work direction to the HR Generalist.
  • Provides work direction to HR Generalist on Paycom changes, project work, compliance activities and any other department administration the position is working on.
  • Responsible for managing the HR budget for the Dubow organization.
  • The primary liaison between the organization and the ASB HR team is for payroll, leaves of absence needs, compliance reporting and benefits.
  • Acts as a change agent to the business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation – striving to lead mutual processes to best practices.
  • Responsible for leading employee engagement and event activities with the engagement council.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions to ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources required.
  • 7 or more years of related experience; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Certificates: PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • This role will be onsite in our St. Cloud, MN location with the opportunity to go hybrid.
