Bartender/Event Server
Walters Wedding Estates

Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking Bartender/ Event Server with a passion for providing excellent hospitality and event coordination. This position requires someone who is extremely hospitable in nature, patient and detail-oriented. This team member should always have a smile on their face and look for ways to improve the clients experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Set-up the event space including tables, chairs, linens, and buffet
  • Serve food and beverages to guests
  • Oversee wedding ceremony processional and recessional
  • Complete coordinator tasks during the reception
  • Work as a part of the banquet team
  • Always maintain venue cleanliness
  • Respond to customer questions and requests
  • Cleanup and breakdown of the event space after its completion; accounts for all equipment and supplies; and ensures its return to storage area
  • Flexible to work shifts as a banquet server, banquet bartender, dishwasher, and event coordinator as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred 
  • Education: Applicable Work History, TABC and Food Handlers license required in Texas
  • Physical: Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours
  • Other: Submit to a background check, have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
  • Provides Excellent Customer Service
  • Takes Extreme Ownership of their responsibilities
  • Is Enthusiastic about helping our clients

Compensation & Schedule:

  • Part-Time: Weekends and Evenings when events take place
    • Must be available and willing to work weekends, holidays, late nights
  • Hourly: $14 - $17 per hour, based on experience
  • 401k with 4% Match
