Devops Engineer

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Groovy and Jenkins, along with a deep understanding of DevOps best practices to enhance software delivery and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripts.
• Automate deployment processes to ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and infrastructure issues.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met throughout the deployment process.
• Provide production support, including on-call assistance when necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a banking or financial services environment.
• Expertise in Groovy scripting and Jenkins pipeline development.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as:
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
