Program Summary
Our goal in the Little Lonestar Program is to impact children and their families, through enrichment activities designed to produce optimal growth and brain development. Additionally, young children with an autism spectrum disorder have deficits in both their ability to communicate and their ability to learn from others in the natural environment. With the acquisition of these skills, alongside their typically developing peers, they can begin to acquire new skills in a more natural environment. We are also committed to helping promote positive parenting techniques through organized workshops for families in the community.
Position Summary
The Program Manager functions as the onsite team leader of the Little Lonestar Program, responsible for the operation and management of the program in the absence of the Program Director.
The Program Manager ensures appropriate programming and materials development for all clients of the Little Lonestar Program.
The Program Manager will oversee the implementation of ongoing training and supervision opportunities for staff members and families of the Little Lonestar Program.
The Program Manager will act as a mentor to all Lead staff members of the Little Lonestar Program.
The Program Manager will ensure all policies and procedures of ESLS and Fedcap are adhered to.
The Program Manager will ensure development of programs and activities designed to improve the lives of children and their families.
The Program Manager will assist with the presentation of training workshops for members of the community, licensed and certified professionals working with people with disabilities, and family members of children with disabilities.
The Program Manager will assist with developing partnerships within the community, allowing opportunities for training and research, while maintaining a presence in the community.
Essential Job Functions
Develops and implements community workshops to help foster positive parenting for families in the community.
Ensures availability of developmentally appropriate programs, activities, and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and sensory stimulation.
Collaborates closely with clinical teams to identify areas of staff training needs, developing materials and opportunities for ongoing staff training, mentoring, and BACB supervision.
Collaborates closely with Program Director to launch new center-based services.
Establish professional relationships with members of the community to provide opportunities for program growth.
Understands and manages key performance indicators for the program to ensure highest quality of services.
Participates in maintenance of billable productivity margin, driving revenue to meet monthly targets.
Implements company driven goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Maintains awareness of trends and best practices in the field of Behavior Analysis and Child Development.
Participates in client and Easterseals meetings and on committees as required and appropriate.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in education, child development, behavior analysis, or related field, preferred.
Minimum 6 college credits in management, preferred.
A minimum of five years of experience working with children with Autism/Autism Spectrum Disorder.
A minimum of one years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
Current driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance if travel in the affiliate’s service area is required.
