DBR is seeking an experienced and visionary Healthcare Practice Area Leader (PAL) to drive the strategic growth, client engagement, and technical excellence of our healthcare market sector.
Essential Functions
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and grow the healthcare practice across all offices
Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies for market positioning, revenue growth, and client development
Serve as the internal and external face of the healthcare practice, representing DBR at industry events, conferences, and client engagements
Business Development & Client Management
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, including hospital systems, developers, architects, and contractors
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities aligned with the firm’s healthcare market strategy
Lead proposal development, interviews, and contract negotiations for healthcare projects
Project Oversight & Technical Excellence
Provide high-level oversight on key healthcare projects to ensure quality, client satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory standards
Serve as a senior technical advisor or project executive on large or strategic projects
Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to ensure integration of MEP systems that meet clinical, operational, and sustainability goals
LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline preferred
Professional Engineering license preferred
Minimum 7+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with at least 6 years focused on healthcare facilities
