Job description

The ideal candidate is an expert in administration and development of Informatica PowerCenter and has experience with ETL Pipelines for traditional databases Oracle and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting current Informatica PowerCenter v 10.2 environment

• Lead migration / installation effort from Linux Redhat 6.10 to Redhat 8

• On Call Support as required during the weekends and nights

• Help Desk Ticket handling and problem ticket analysis

• Troubleshoot & Resolve ETL Job Failures related to platform

• Performs root cause analysis to determine nature of software environment issues as they arise and provide the permanent fix for the issues

• Participate in a project to migrate to a new reporting stack by documenting existing ETL workflow interfaces and participate in project to select and migrate to a new integration tool

Required Skills

• Candidates should have minimum 5 years of experience in Informatica in handling end to end Powercenter administration and development activity

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data load issues

• Strong experience in providing system administration, operational support and problem resolution for a large complex Unix/Linux/Informatica environment

• Strong experience in Informatica installation and upgrades process

• Flexibility and adaptability towards changing organizational needs.

• Good Communication skills

• Strongly desire candidate with Informatica development experience

• Experience administering SAP Business Objects servers a definite plus

• Unix shell scripting experience
