Job Summary
The Lobby Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, providing a warm, professional welcome and delivering exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for managing the front desk area, coordinating visitor access, handling incoming calls, and maintaining a secure and polished lobby environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcomes customers to the workplace, confirms their requirements, and orients consequently
Walks the space and is visible throughout the day to communicate with employees, gather their feedback, and assist them with their needs
Collaborates to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situationsRemains aware of and prepares for major events, visits, presentations, etc.
Maintains continual communication and interfaces with all departments throughout the site
Answers and properly directs incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; or equivalent hospitality experience
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in hospitality industry
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
Ability to create and maintain a welcoming, hospitable environment
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under varying stressful conditions with a patient, calm and friendly demeanor
Resourcefulness, professionalism, and poise
