Position Title: Financial Commission Analyst

Reports to: Commissions Manager

Department: Finance/Commissions

Location: Summit NJ; in-office position

Classification: Full-time

Summary / Job Objective: This position is responsible for commission, production processing and reporting. As a part of our Finance and Commissions team, you will have the responsibility of working through many processes and using your skills to drive the business to end results. In this role, you will be working closely with Finance, Operations and Sales Team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly and weekly commissions: this process includes accounts reconciliation, running reports, populating worksheets, performing calculations, obtaining approvals and preparing files for payments
  • Summarize and communicate commission data to multiple team members
  • Calculate and audit commissions payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisions
  • Maintain an accurate trackable record of commissions and supporting data
  • Review, upload and enter commission data into Sales Force (the CRM system)
  • Research, document and communicate resolutions to external and internal business partners for all inquiries regarding the commission and payment process
  • Audit of commission statements to ensure the organization is receiving correct payments
  • Trouble shooting commission issues and resolve through investigation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the job

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Finance, economics, business, mathematics or similar)
  • 4+ years of experience in commissions or accounting/finance field
  • Strong math skills/ analytical thinking skills
  • Detail orientated and comfortable working with large data sets
  • Strong computer skills – Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus, but not required
  • Willing to take ownership of the position
  • Ability to understand the time standards and order of work flow to complete the prime responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation (based On Experience)

  • Base salary: $50K-$65K based on experience
  • This is an exempt position
  • Annual performance bonus target: 5%
