Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the ITM I Infrastructure Services Manager, the ITS I serves as a Systems/Cloud Administrator and is responsible for the administration, coordination, maintenance, and monitoring of Cal OES’ cloud infrastructure, M365 platform, M365 applications, certificate services, Citrix environments, and other related systems. The incumbent performs a variety of tasks requiring innovative problem solving, evaluating business needs, security impacts, and implementing technological solutions.

The incumbent consults with business users, vendors, and/or infrastructure service groups to define strategies and requirements for technical solutions based on an analysis of business needs, objectives, and existing/future systems infrastructure. Duties include working both in a technical capacity and independently as a technical specialist on complex interacting system assignments.

Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and you may be required to relocate to emergency sites.
