Required Skills & Qualifications:

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our expansion in the Indian market.

This role is crucial in developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth in the professional audio sector.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the Indian pro audio and Audio Visual Integration markets, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to develop and execute market-specific strategies.
 

Market Expansion & Business Development
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate new markets and acquire new clients in India.
• Identify and establish relationships with distributors, dealers, rental companies, broadcasters, recording studios, live sound professionals, system integrators, and consultants.
• Drive business growth by expanding our customer base in music production, live sound, broadcasting, and commercial AV sectors.

Account Management & Customer Retention
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored pro audio solutions.
• Work closely with distributors and channel partners to enhance sales performance and improve market reach.


Sales Strategy & Execution
• Set and achieve sales targets in line with the company’s revenue goals.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and negotiate deals to maximize profitability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and the customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ensure timely and accurate sales forecasting and reporting to management.

Marketing & Brand Positioning
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop localized sales campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.
• Work with partners to deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for end-users and resellers.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with product development and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and improve product offerings.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and post-sales support.
• Liaise with finance and legal teams for contract negotiations, payment terms, and compliance with Indian market regulations.

Key Objectives:
• Successfully penetrate new markets and increase market share in India.
• Achieve and exceed sales revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, integrators, and end-users.
• Enhance brand awareness and product adoption through strategic marketing initiatives.
• Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the pro audio, music technology, or AV or within a similar industry
• Strong network and industry connections in the Indian pro audio and AV integration markets.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop and execute market-specific sales strategies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely while collaborating with global teams.
Willingness to travel extensively across India and occasionally internationally.
• Fluency in Hindi (or other regional languages) is a plus.
