This role helps in designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive business intelligence solutions using Power BI, including data modeling, data integration, security measures, and visualization creation, by collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective dashboards and reports within the Power BI platform. The role is developing and updating BI reports as well as communicating actionable insights to improve corporate decision-making. Should be able to manage data, evaluate its results, and display them strategically by using visualization tools, DAX queries, charts, and relationships. Also, understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications. This role uses independence and judgment, works to solve data issues and problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence.
Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
Spot key performance indicators with apt objectives
Analyze previous and present data for better decision making
Transform business requirements into technical publications
Build multi-dimensional data models
Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models
Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts
Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

8+ years of experience in Business Analytics tools developing Reporting and Dashboards
5+ years in Reporting and Analytics using Power BI - M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, RLS
Back-end data integration and architecture including dimensional data modeling, database design, data warehousing, ETL development, and performance tuning
Hands-on experience with SQL
Great numerical and analytical skills
Experience working in Agile development environment with tools such as Jira
Good communication skills to translate business requirements into Dashboards and Reporting
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or applied math
