About the Role

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in our production accounting team. You'll deliver accurate and insightful work that makes a significant difference for our clients, handling everything from preparing and reviewing financial statements to managing complex tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with Australian standards
  • Support junior team members, helping them grow professionally
  • Stay updated on Australian tax law and accounting standards, and share insights with the team
  • Continuously look for ways to improve workflow and service delivery

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of Australian tax experience in a public practice firm
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting principles
  • Proficient with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.
  • SMSF knowledge, ClassSuper experience, preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
