Job description

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated 100% Remote Deployment Lead to support a top Fortune 125 client! We are looking for a Deployment Lead who has experience managing and coordinating complex software deployments, with a strong grasp of CI/CD tools and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth deployment cycles across multiple teams.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience leading or executing software deployments
  • Strong track record managing detailed and complex deployment checklists
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
  • Proficient in working within cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams
  • Proven ability to keep cross-functional efforts organized, aligned, and on schedule
 
Desired Skills:
  • Deployment experience of GIS applications or platforms
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and track deployment timelines, processes, and team alignment
  • Ensure staging, QA, and production environments are properly configured and deployment-ready
  • Work closely with engineering, QA, DevOps, and project management teams to manage release activities
  • Identify potential deployment risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement contingency or rollback plans
  • Maintain and enhance automation through CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment tools
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all deployment updates and communications to stakeholders
