Description

Position Summary:

 

The Administrative Director Nursing Division provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and nursing leadership. This role is responsible for coordinating departmental initiatives, facilitating communication across nursing programs, and ensuring smooth execution of strategic projects. The Administrative Director serves as a key liaison between the nursing division, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, compliance, and quality improvement efforts.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Program Coordination & Strategic Support

  • Collaborate with the CNO to implement and monitor strategic initiatives within the nursing division.
  • Support the development and execution of nursing operational plans, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate and track nursing division projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a bridge between nursing leadership and other departments to enhance interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain nursing program documentation, reports, and performance metrics.

 

Administrative & Executive Support

    • Assist the CNO in scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes for nursing leadership meetings.
    • Draft correspondence, presentations, and reports on behalf of the CNO and nursing leadership team.
    • Manage timelines and follow-ups for critical nursing division initiatives, ensuring accountability.
    • Facilitate the implementation of quality improvement and compliance initiatives.

 

Data Management & Compliance

  • Collect, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to nursing workflows, staffing, and patient outcomes.
  • Monitor compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, assisting in preparing required documentation for audits and inspections.

Support quality improvement efforts by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of administrative assistant experience positions.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications, which include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other web-based applications.
  • Required to produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.
  • Must be highly organized and able to interact with individuals from very diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to be flexible and work independently is necessary.
