Compensation & Benefits: $ 17-18 per hour plus bonus

Role Overview

This position reaches out to mortgage loan customer leads and inputs customer information to pass to a Loan Officer. This position is an integral part of the team, the first point of contact representing MSF and a positive experience to a potential customer. This is a entry level position to being a Loan Officer, MSF is willing to train those interested in growing their career in the mortgage industry.

 

Essential Duties: In addition to related job duties as assigned, this position will:

  • Uses marketing leads and reaches out to potential customers over the phone, in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Provides excellent customer service and positive representation of MSF while taking customers’ information over the phone for a loan application.
  • Records customers information accurately and professionally.
  • Work with department team members to complete loans timely.
  • Redirect calls to a loan officer on the team who is licensed in the borrowers state
Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge

  • Previous experience on phones is strongly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Work well in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Ability to navigate mortgage specific computer systems
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional appearance (business casual).
  • Professional, courteous, friendly demeanor and excellent phone etiquette.
  • Ability to follow directions and perform work accordingly.
  • Must be able to pass background check.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Stationary position; prolonged periods at a desk and working on the computer.
  • Occasional movement about inside the office to walk to offices and office machinery.
  • Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.
