Scope of Work
Higher Heights seeks an experienced Senior Development Lead, Individual Giving to support the growth and execution of our medium and large dollar donor program. This person will work closely with the Vice President of Institutional Development, as well as other cross-departmental executives, to support Higher Heights’ strategic development and growth of the organization.
The primary function of the Senior Development Lead will be to support the Vice President to support the development and implementation of a major donor fundraising effort identifying, cultivating, and stewarding relationships with donors who are giving gifts of $1,000+/year as well as facilitating introductions to prospective donors. Depending on the expertise and services offered, the lead may also support events, staffing in person or virtual donor meetings, call time, grant writing, etc. Prospective candidates should specify what services they would offer in their proposal.
This is a remote, full-time temporary position that requires some travel as needed. It is expected to span 3 months, beginning July 21, 2025, and concluding October 31, 2025, with a detailed timeline to be established during the initial kickoff meeting.

Compensation
The compensation range for this role is $6,250-$7,916/month. The final base will be determined
by various factors, including individual qualifications and internal parity, which will be objectively
assessed during the interview process.
