This is a remote position.

About the Position

This is an incredible work opportunity in a fast-paced, innovative company that puts the patient first. We hire clinical care professionals who deliver medical care using telemedicine modalities including video, phone, connected devices, and asynchronous messages (chat/email).

Physicians are members of an interdisciplinary care team working as staff clinicians with OpenLoop. They work independently and are responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within the industry and locally established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and organization policies and procedures.  If you would be interested in the clinical recruitment team’s outreach, please submit your info today!


Responsibilities

  • Obtain histories, conduct virtual exams, documents finding, evaluate and diagnose medical and behavioral health conditions, recommend treatment plans, construct care plans, enlist support from other team members and promote peace of mind by investing in patient confidence.

  • Deliver patient care targeting a range of conditions such as: general health consultations, chronic disease management, wellness exams, prescription refills, and other common acute illnesses.

  • Complete comprehensive documentation within our EHR system in a timely manner.

  • Communicate effectively with other providers and team members, including using comprehensive charting and messaging.

  • Provide patient care that balances the best that medical science has to offer, patient preferences and values, and invests in patients' future confidence and skills.




Requirements
  • Board-certified physician (MD or DO) from a US-accredited medical school

  • Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine

  • Must possess active, non-restrictive medical licenses in 10+ U.S. states. High priorty states include: CA, FL, TX, GA, NV, NJ, IL, NC, CO, AZ, AL, AR, LA, SC.

  • A minimum of TWO years experience as a practicing physician, specialization in primary care is preferred

  • Must have no history of malpractice

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Outstanding clinical expertise, evidence-based practice

  • Competent in providing patient education at every visit

  • Timely and professional

  • Telemedicine or virtual care experience a plus!



Benefits
  • This is a 1099, contract position. Both part-time and full-time hours are available!

  • Compensation: Per consult reimbursement model.

  • Visit Types: Mix of synchronous video visits and asynchronous lab reviews / medication refills.

  • Hours of Operation: Primarily Monday - Friday 7am-7pm CST. Some weekends as applicable.
