We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Administrator to join our AR operations team. This role is responsible for managing billing processes, customer creditworthiness, collections, cash application and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

Your Impact

As the Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will:

Credit:

Assess customer creditworthiness.

Set or recommend credit limits.

Review financial statements and credit reports.

Demonstrate familiarity with Dun & Bradstreet site, downloading and reading reports.

Maintain and update customer credit files.

Monitor accounts for changes in credit risk and proactively make adjustment to terms.

Collaborate with sales, collections, and legal teams to resolve credit issues.

Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.

Display knowledge of credit scoring tools and financial statement analysis.

Collections:

Follow up on overdue accounts via email, phone, or mail.

Maintain aging reports and document collection activities.

Monitor email box designated for Accounts Receivable.

Process/collecting customer withholding tax certificates.

Prepare aging reports and escalate issues as needed.

Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies.

Cash Applications:

Apply incoming payments to correct customer accounts and invoices using ERP system.

Research and resolving unapplied or misapplied cash.

Handle remittance advice.

Identify the currency of payment and confirm match to invoices.

Collaborate with collections and billing teams to clarify remittances.

Respond to internal and external inquiries related to payments.

What You Bring

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

Associate degree or equivalent work experience may be accepted for entry-level roles.

Technical Skills:

Accounting Software: Experience with ERP system Workday or similar.

Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.

Data Entry: Accuracy and speed in processing payments and transactions.

Familiarity with bank sites retrieving files and investigating payments.

Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail.

Effective communication (written and verbal).

Problem-solving abilities.

Organizational and time management skills.

Customer service orientation (especially in collections).

Experience Level:

Entry-level: 0–3 years of direct experience in credit, collections, and cash application

Remote USA
Salary range of $ 48,800- $73,200. (Actual salary will depend on experience and job-related factors.)
