About the Position

We are seeking a mission-driven, hands-on Senior Manager, Global People and Culture with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition to help us grow and support our global team. Reporting to the SVP, Global People and Culture, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in both the strategic and tactical aspects of recruiting. This includes proactive outreach, sourcing passive candidates, and leveraging existing networks, while also supporting managers and global People & Culture (P&C) initiatives.

The successful candidate will bring 7–10 years of experience recruiting in global nonprofit settings. They will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization where adaptability, ownership, and collaboration are key.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for global roles, including proactive sourcing and direct outreach to passive candidates.
  • Leverage your existing network of mission-aligned professionals and industry relationships to identify and engage high-quality talent.
  • Build diverse talent pipelines through targeted outreach, job boards, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop inclusive and globally accessible job descriptions.
  • Manage candidate communications and maintain accurate data in the ATS.
  • Coordinate global scheduling and feedback collection.
  • Support recruitment-related projects, including employer branding, candidate experience, and process improvements
  • Support onboarding and lifecycle transactions across global regions.
  • Maintain data accuracy across HR systems and track compliance items.
  • Assist with documentation and HR operational tasks.
  • Contribute to cross-functional P&C initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Desired Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in talent acquisition and/or people operations, ideally in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
  • Proven hands-on recruiter with experience in proactive outreach and sourcing passive candidates.
  • Strong network within mission-aligned or Internet-related industries, with the ability to activate relationships to support recruiting.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and with globally dispersed teams.
  • Excellent project management and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency with ATS (BambooHR a plus) and HR systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication in English; Spanish and/or French a plus.
  • High attention to detail, responsiveness, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Learning agility and a desire to grow in global P&C practices.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Compensation and benefits for this position will be paid in local currency and based on the country and geographic location’s local salary and benefits market data for the position. Exact pay will be based on factors including but not limited to relevant qualifications, experience, geographic location, education, business and organizational needs.
