About the team

The Corporate accounting team is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations


About the position

As the Sr. Accounting analyst you will:

  • Review the accounting allocation of expenses by account and cost center.
  • Update account reconciliations and work papers for month end close.
  • Be responsible for complete Balance sheet and P&L analysis for the legal entities in charge under local GAAP and USGAAP, 
  • Assure the integrity, accuracy,  quality and timeliness of the above information.
  • Identify and communicate related process improvement opportunities.
  • Promote the automatization and digitalization of accounting processes. 
  • Keep the accounting books up to date.
  • Attend to external auditors in quarterly and yearly revisions and audits of financial statements.
  • Responsible for the assembly of the Statutory Financial statements.
  • Support external tax advisors in preparation of monthly and annual tax returns.
  • Help establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy of financial information. 
  • Support special projects as required involving accounting, analysis, reporting or operating aspects of the company.


Location  

Remote work from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  


About you 


Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting (or students with meaningful work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in similar positions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel in particular) and experience with ERPs are a must.


Skills

  • Proficient organizational and time management skills to independently prioritize multiple tasks and bring projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and with limited supervision.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellen written and verbal communication skills.
