WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

This role entails the daily oversight of customer projects to maintain a customer-centric approach and alignment with the company's culture and objectives. The Project Manager is accountable for managing the entire implementation process of new orders, additional service requests and solution upgrades assigned to them, driving excellence in service delivery, training, and client engagement.

  • Drive end-to-end project delivery for payment software implementations, integrations, and enhancements, ensuring seamless delivery of our services/products to clients - fostering satisfaction and laying the foundation for client success – within agreed timeframes.
  • Completion and distribution of key Project documentation; Scoping Terms of Reference, Clear Milestones, Regular Project updates and Completion/Lessons Learned etc.
  • Translate technical requirements into clear, actionable project plans.
  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Assisting / Supervising colleagues Projects, imbedding clear Project Management principles and best practices across the PS team.
  • Partner closely with Product teams and Sales to align solutions with client goals and ensure seamless handover to the BAU Technical and Account Management Teams, at project completion.
  • Be the main point of contact for clients—managing expectations, answering questions, and keeping them updated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve internal processes and the customer experience.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTILES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects for various customers within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues and challenges ahead of time to minimize impact on customers and delivery schedules.
  • Foster close working relationships with the wider professional services, development, sales, support, and finance teams to ensure comprehensive project management and delivery in line with customer expectations.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction measures, reporting processes, and systems through regular surveys and post-case questionnaires.
  • Contribute to the standardization of Professional Services across the business.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department, focusing on improving customer experience, reducing operating costs, increasing automation, and optimising processes.
  • Set the example of Customer First project management, setting standards of for customer engagement.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction with our services.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new services to meet evolving client demands and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Services Manager to understand and contribute to the key metrics within the Jonas business model, assisting with forecasting and driving revenue recognition.
  • Contribute to relevant weekly/monthly reports on Professional Services team activities.
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to learn about new products and assist in their implementation into customer environments as part of an early adopter process.
  • Collaborate with other departments within Jonas Fintech to ensure alignment and integration of professional services with broader company goals and initiatives.
  • Influence stakeholders across the organisation to support the execution of departmental strategies and objectives.

  • Having 3+ years of project management experience, ideally coordinating or managing multiple projects concurrently, preferably within a payments or fintech software environment, though not mandatory.
  • Possession of project coordination/management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2) would be advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, APIs, security protocols, or software development lifecycles is advantageous.

LOCATION

  • Remote (but must be prepared to travel in the UK occasionally to meet at ad hoc team meetings and quarterly company events)
