Job Description

Are you a talented Occupational Therapist looking for a new role with a twist?

How about having Sydney as your base with the freedom and autonomy to explore your State? We are looking for assistance servicing Regional NSW.

Provide your rehabilitation expertise to our regional clients on a FIFO or DIDO basis! Tell us your wish list and let’s see what we can make work together.

How you’ll be making an impact in people’s lives:

  • Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans. 
  • Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity
  • Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation
  • Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals
  • Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes

 

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy (AHPRA)
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people’s lives in tangible ways
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
  • Willingness to work in the community (must have drivers licence and access to own vehicle)
  • Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
